About Guruji
पंडित चंद्रकांत उपाध्याय गुरुजी
Purohit in Nashik & Trimbakeshwar · 15 years of pujas

Pandit Chandrakant Upadhaya Guruji performs Vedic pujas in Nashik and at Trimbakeshwar. He has been conducting pujas for fifteen years, for households in and around Nashik as well as for families who travel in from other states.
Much of the work is the shanti and ancestral vidhis that bring families to Trimbakeshwar, alongside pujas performed at home — a Vastu Shanti for a new house, a Navgrah Shanti, a Rudrabhishek, or a Devi anushthan when a family asks for one.
Before the day he goes through what will be performed, roughly how long it runs, what saman is needed and who should sit for the sankalp, so that nothing has to be worked out on the morning itself. The vidhi is then performed in the order the paddhati sets out, with the mantras and offerings that it prescribes.
Guruji speaks Hindi and Marathi, and says what each step means as the puja goes along, rather than leaving the family to sit through it without knowing.
