About this puja
Laghugraha Shanti is the shorter form of the graha shanti. The same nine grahas are worshipped on a mandal, with a shorter jaap and a shorter havan, so that the whole of it finishes in a morning.
It is a household vidhi. It is performed at the family’s own house or flat in Nashik rather than at a mandir, with the sankalp spoken at the place itself.
When families perform it
- Before a wedding, a thread ceremony, or a new beginning in the house.
- When a jyotishi has advised a graha shanti and the longer vidhi is not practical.
- Alongside a Vastu Shanti or a Satyanarayan pujan kept on the same morning.
On the day
Sankalp at your house, then Ganesh pujan and punyahavachan.
Kalash sthapana, the navgrah mandal drawn, and the nine grahas worshipped.
A short jaap and havan for the graha advised, then aarti and prasad.

Does it have to be done at home?
It is usually done at the house or flat, since that is where the family is. It can also be done at Trimbakeshwar if you would rather. Say which you prefer when you message.
